We are going to Montserrat this fall. Has anyone been there recently?

We just returned from Montserrat two weeks ago. It's great! It's definitely smaller now, but the people are still the friendliest people you'll find anywhere. They are all so proud of their island and love to show it off and talk about it. Where else in the world can you get that close to an active volcano (5 miles) and not be in danger? Great chance to experience nature at her most dangerous - and remain in safety. Wow! Go there, you'll love it!
