I am travelling to punta cana last week of april and first week. My questions - what is the best way to get to the resort? bus? cab? I will need to get myelf to the resort as i am going down by myself (meeting people there). I am staying at LTI Beach resort - what the most cost effective way???

I will probably get in around nine or ten at night.

A cab will probably be the best way, just to get you to the hotel.The next day, when you meet up with everyone, figure out the best way to get around amongst yourselves. There is rental, charter and cab. REMEMBER TO NEGOTIATE THE PRICE BEFORE YOU GET IN. Things have a way of doubling if you ask afterwards..... You may need to get some local currency right off the bat to do this, they may take american, I can't remember exactly how that works.
