Aruba for first timers

We don't know anything about Aruba. We are not the tourist types. We don't gamble. We love to find bars w/ good music and affordable drinks. we heard we can buy 2 liters at the airport, duty free. is that true? how do you go about it? Do we pack our Cigarettes? How about Coca Cola?? I need mixers. What are the prices like?? Has anyone gone as far as packing Munchies?? How do you go about it. We are traveling on a budget. We don't want to see vagas shows. A smokey bar w/ a raggae band is us. Any thing off the beaten path. Are the local cool?

You can see the whole island with 2 day car rental. Check out Charlies in San Nicholas on way out to Baby Beach. Unique watering hole. I've found the grocery stores ok for basics. People friendly. Enjoy
