First off, I've been to Aruba twice. Both times I stayed at Palm Beach...it was excellent! I've been to Anguilla. To me that was the perfect beach vacation for me. I've been to Grand Cayman and St. Thomas, however, it rained pretty much the entire time I was there, so I can't really judge them.
I'm after another Anguilla or Aruba type beach. Perfect sand and water! I will be going with a girlfriend (no kids). All I want is a picture perfect beach without major crowdes, although it is kida fun to people watch! Can someone give me some help!!

Canouan is amazing as far as beaches go. At least equal too are slightly superior to Anguilla, but it is EXPENSIVE!!! Have you looked into Jost Van Dyke or Eleuthera?

You should consider the BVI as there are many nice beaches scattered throughout but some travel to & fro will be required. If true "bumming" is your need think about Antigua. It has many very inviting white sand beaches and with so many available crowds are almost never a problem.

Agree with the above. Also, the Out Islands of the Bahamas, Petit st. Vincent, to name a few. I am a beach rat, as well. I am always looking for another.
