St. Martin Hotels

I'd like some recommendations for hotels on St. Martin....there are so many and I'm so confused. We like peace & quiet (I don't even want to see a jet ski), calm water, great beach, possibly some snorkeling off the beach.

I have been to St. Martin MANY times. I recommend the French side. Try the Grand Case Beach Club or the Le meridian resort. There are many small hotels as well. But, i would stay away from Orient Beach. We tend to stay at quiet, kid free, places.
