Has anyone ever taken champagne with them to a destination and if so did it go flat due to the pressurization on the plane? Thanks.

I've carried sealed champagne on a flight and not had a problem. Airlines who sell "duty free" items often sell champagne as one of the items and these bottles go on several flights before being sold sometimes. I say, bring your favorite if you don't think it will be available or perhaps cheaper at a shop at your destination (not the hotel of course) and let the bubbles tickle your nose into joy! Cheers!

The champagne will not go flat if left unopened. As a flight attendant I can tell you that you will not be allowed to consume it onboard the aircraft. You can only drink liquor provided on the flight. Anyway, it will be much more fun to save it for your destination.
