We are booked for a trip to cum DEC 7,what are the conditions in cancun-
Is the hotel up or out of commission?what are the needs in cancun that a traveler can bring to someone,if we are aloud to travel

I would contact your travel agent as to weather this hotel is open. Cancun took nearly a direct hit from force 4 Wilma and the damage was significant. If it is closed, your agent will be able to rebook you at another Caribbean destination or secure a refund. This may be a bit trickier if you booked yourself or used an online booking such as Travelocity or Expedia. As far as bringing relief supplies yourself I strongly recommend against this. Proper and safe distribution of anything you bring as an individual would be chaotic if not dangerous as you would not be able to properly organize or coordinate your aid. I suggest making donations through an organized charity you trust so that their relief efforts can be maintained and serve the good of those most in need.
