Couples or Sandals in Jamaica?

Hello All!

My husband and I are trying to plan a trip for February. We have decided on Jamaica although we do love Mexico and the Cozumel area. We will be going just for 4 days. We have friends who have stayed at the Sandals Grand Ocho Rois, but I noticed there was a Couples resort there also, has anyone stayed at either one. What did you like best?

Both Resorts are nice, but you also might want to look at Grand Lido (Negril). Great place, great food, bars & rooms. Negril is full of hidden gems, you must go to Rockhouse on West end Rd. for drinks or dinner, it may change your view on the Super-All-Inclusives. I agree with northernhorn...I'd look at either Grand Lido Negril (or Grand Lido Braco) over Sandals or Couples. I've stayed at several resorts in the Ocho Rios area, including Couples Sans Souci (back when it was Sans Souci Lido and now that it's Couples Sans Souci...it was MUCH better when it was still a Lido property...but still better than Couples Ocho Rios)

Braco or Negril would be a shorter drive anyway...if you are just going for 4 days, I don't think I'd invest the two hours each way to get to Ocho Rios.
