Antigua

We'll be in Antigua at the end of this month staying at St. James Club Villas. Any input on this property? Mainly looking just for R & R. Is the shopping good? Recs. on restaurants, casinos, etc. appreciated.

This is a good sized island and the shopping is..okay. If you do travel around, here as anywhere, get your taxi fare for the trip quoted before you ride. I was young and didn't and ended up on an $80 US cab ride once here and am careful everywhere now.
But, to me the coolest thing to do on Antiqua is on Sunday afternoon and into the night onShirley Heights. Hi above and overlooking the Admirality harbor, the remains of a military station and the nearby restaurant turn into a great party with rum, barbecue and music! If you can be there for it, do so!
