If you get a chance, you must get to Anegada. When you do, take in some lobster at the Anegada Reef Hotel. It's really hard to beat. The next day, take a side trip to the north side. Be sure to visit Flash of Beauty. The people there are very nice. Next, go to Cow Wreck Bay beach bar. Have some conch fritters. They are truly outstanding. Say "hello" to Alex and listen to him strum his three string ukelele (actually, it's just missing a string). If you're lucky someone will bring in a fresh conch from the surf and Alex will remove it from the shell for you. Finally, stop by Big Bamboo. I can't say much for the food (other than the fritters) at the bars, but the drinks are outstanding. Each of the beach bars has a beautiful beach that is easily accessible. The locals are just fantastic. Just sitting down and talking with them was most enjoyable. If I could go back to Anegada tomorrow, it would be too late. The place is something else.
