I will be traveling with a group in February and am looking for two types of venues, 1. Dinner with a view and, 2. Casual food at a fun bar. Prior we have dined at Mafolie, love it, but looking for a new spot. Any suggestions?

I don't dine on St Thomas a lot but there's one place we usually end up at during a day downtown. The Greenhouse. At the west end of Veterans Drive (the street along the water in Charlotte Amalie) it has been there for a while and still pumps out some great bar type food and a little more, along with cold drinks. I find it perfect if you're in town, start shopping at the east end of town near the open market and visitors center and work your way across. This way you can shop till you drop at the Greenhouse. Very nice conch fritters!

Roberts American, great food and service(I think it is on Cowpet Bay)but can get expensive! A great evening experience is eating Irish food at Molly Maloney's for diner and then walk across the street to Duffy's Love Shack for drinks - Lime in the Coconut!
