View Full Version : Caribbean All Inclusives
Planning a trip with a bunch of friens. Want a really nice all inclusive place to stay on any island in the Caribbean. Looking for great food, great beaches and great service.

There are so many options that it would be hard to recommend just one or two based on the info you've given. What kind of price point are you looking for? Do you care about night life? Do you want access to lots of watersports or are you just looking to kick back on the beach?
We want nightlife since there will be a group of us going (we are all celebrating birthdays) and we definitely want water sports. We have scuba divers, snorkellers and fishermen in the group. We would prefer a more upscale place, preferably a 4-star rating.

Note: keep in mind that a 4 star in the Caribbean is not the same as a 4 star in US/Canada.
That being said, a few places come to mind...all have upside/downside:
1. Grand Lido Negril, Jamaica (not so much nightlife at the resort but definitely available nearby): lots of activities, great service, good beach, decent fishing.
2. Club Med Turkoise, Turks & Caicos: fun, active scene (both day and night) for couples and singles, great snorkeling/diving and a FABULOUS beach. Not sure about the fishing here.
3. Aventura Resort & Spa, Riviera Maya, Mexico: fabulous service, lots of activities, "beach" is a cove protected by a rock wall since it is very rough surf. Great fishing in the area.
Hope this helps!

Beaches and Club Meds have it all and are up but not over the top of the scale. Check the one's out on St Lucia
