Wedding Coordinator - St. Thomas

Does anyone have experience with wedding coordinators on St. Thomas - especially independent coordinators as we will rent a villa for the wedding? The happy time is spring 2004!!

We had attended a wedding in St. Thomas. The couple married at the
Wyndham Sugar Bay Resort. Beautiful wedding.Went smooth. The place in general is an all inclusive, but too new to adjust to the routine.So very disappointing. Visit St.john's bay. Breathtaking waters. Searching for my second daughter wants to marry somewhere in the Caribbean. Best Wishes to you

I was married at Frenchmen's Reef (Marriott) on St. Thomas.

It was beautiful - I'd do it again.

While I am already married (forty-four years!) and don't have need personally for a wedding coordinator, I have a good friend, Julianna Leonard, I can heartily recommend. You can access her web site at http://www.cstyle.co.vi/ and get an idea of her work.

She can not only coordinate the wedding, but she is a whiz with flowers and an award winning professional photography to boot! While y'all are already planning to rent a villa, should the bride and groom want to get away from the rest of the wedding pasty, I've stayed in one of the condos at Cabrita Point and they are as lovely as they appear in the pictures.

If you're looking for a good coordinator, try Weddings the Island Way in St. Thomas..I used them several years ago, and they were GREAT! We were married on the beach and had a mini-reception on a chartered sailboat, complete with food, drinks and a cake. They arranged photographer, minister, etc and did a great job. If you need more info, let me know.
