Charela Inn, Negril, Jamaica

My wife and I have travelled the caribbean extensively, but have sort of bypassed jamaica since we werre not too interested in the Super Clubs per se. But, did manage to find a small resort in Negril, the Charela Inn. Sounds as if it will be perfect....close enough to sample the bars, restaurants in Negril, but small enough to escape when you want to....If anyone has any info on this resort....it would be much appreciated....thanks

You'll have more luck posting this query on the Caribbean travel talk forum on www.fodors.com. There's a lot more activity there than on this forum.

If you're staying in Negril, you might also want to consider staying on the cliffs portion rather than the beach--it's more secluded and you can still get daily shuttles to the beach. Maybe The Caves for something more upscale, or The Rockhouse for somthing unique at a moderate price. You can also check www.negril.com for loads of info on this area.
