I'VE BEEN GOING TO ARUBA FOR THE PAST 15 YEARS AND BELIEVE, THAT ARUBA HAS THE BEST BEACHES, GREAT RESTAURANTS AND NICE PEOPLE

I've been to both in the last few years and they are different. Aruba is more developed and typical caribbean.Turks is still very laid back and undeveloped. There is very little to do other than enjoy the gorgeous beach which is all I need, It is beautiful. there are restuarants that are good but no more then 10 or 12. some of the local places Like Smokey's on the bay are very local but good food.

I personally would choose Aruba. You have all the restaurants and nightlife you could want and some decent snorkel/scuba sights. And it is a short day trip to Bonaire for more. Klien Bonaire and Captain Dan's are the greatest.

I'd choose Turks & Caicos is you want to be "ahead" of the crowd. 10 years from now, the place will not be the same, just as every over-developed Caribbean island.

That's right! Stay ahead of the crowd and go to TCI. It's so beautiful there!

I have been to Aruba twice in the past few years and it has become a "cruise destination". The island has lost its' quaint feeling with all of the development and catering to mass numbers of visitors. But it is a nice place to visit. Radisson is the best resort on the island.

My vote is for Turks and Caicos -- but only if you want a laid back beach vacation. Grace Bay has got to be one of the wonders of the world. It's gorgeous! There isn't a whole lot to do on T&C, so if you want to veg out on the beach or enjoy the beautiful water and good meals, then T&C is the place for you. Interesting tale -- we always do an around the island tour every place we've been and did the same on T&C. It took less than 2 hours going from one end to the other. There isn't a whole lot to do on T&C, but that's the idea, right? Have a great time whatever you decide.

Quieter, sandy beaches, great resorts, layed back...that's why I'd choose Turks over Aruba which is sort of like Vegas by the Sea with the casino resorts, American style chain restaurants, etc. But ..it may be what you want!
