Has anyone been to Vieques? Any recommendations on places to stay, restaurants, snorkeling spots, etc?

I was stationed there while in the Navy, and since the base has been turned over to public, You will have access to the best beaches and snorkling on the island.

I've heard mostly good feedback about the Wyndham Martineau Bay. I've stayed in & enjoyed the Inn on the Blue Horizon. However, right now the hip and exotic place to stay in Vieques is Hix Island House (but it's not on the beach). There are other smaller, less expensive inns and guesthouses too, but I've only been to the Blue Horizon.
