Advertised as relaxing. If you find having a DJ blasting music 100 ft outside your villa till 3:30 AM relaxing. Or 30 people yelling and throwing each other into the pool relaxing. That was our experience at Belizean Dreams. One of the owners decided to give his wife a birthday party. That sounded okay to us until we were told we could not use the restaurant, bar or pool from 6 pm on. Basically we were told to order room service and stay in our villa. Resort emplees walked edges of party to make sure no one crashed it. We were told party would be over by midnight. At one it was still going so strong the other guests felt they were tring to sleep in a bar. When we asked them to at least tone the party down they did for 5 min. then cranked it up again. Finally stoped at 3:38 A.M. Then 3 nights latter they turned the bar house music up on high and started all over again until 1 A.M. The only answer we got to our complaints was "Sorry its one of the owners so we can not say anything."
No discounts or anything were given out to us or any other guest I talked to.
